Fresh Strawberry Nice Cream (Dairy-Free)

Cool, creamy, and naturally sweet, this dairy-free nice cream is the perfect healthy summer treat. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it's packed with fruit flavor and comes together in minutes.

Ingredients

• 3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen

• 1½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and frozen

• 2–4 tablespoons unsweetened coconut milk (or other dairy-free milk), as needed

• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)

• Unsweetened coconut flakes

• Chopped almonds or walnuts

Instructions

1 Place the frozen bananas and frozen strawberries into a food processor or high-powered blender.

2 Blend until the fruit begins to break down, scraping down the sides as needed.

3 Add the coconut milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Stir in the vanilla extract, if using.

4 Serve immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1–2 hours for a firmer, scoopable texture. It should be the texture and firmness similar to soft serve ice cream or custard.

5 Garnish with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
